New Direction Trust Company Refer a Friend Program Terms and Conditions effective January 2, 2024:

1. Eligibility: New Direction Trust Company Refer a Friend offer (the “reward”) is available to any New Direction Trust Company (NDCTO) client with an open, active NDTCO financial account (a “Referrer”) and refers a friend or family member (“Friend”) to open and fund a new NDTCO financial account (“New Account”). The Offer is only open to Referrers and Friends who are 18 years of age or older. A Referrer or Friend who meets the foregoing eligibility requirements and otherwise complies with these terms is referred to below as “Eligible”.
2. Offer requirements:

   Subject to the limitations and restrictions set out in these terms, a referral reward e-gift card in an amount of $50 USD will be given to each of the Referrer and the Friend if: The Referrer submits the referred Friend’s information via the NDTCO Refer a Friend form in the client portal.  No Reward will be given if the Friend is referred in any other manner; ii. The Friend is a new NDTCO client with no prior financial relationship with NDTCO as of date of submission; iii. The Friend must open and fund a New Account using the email address submitted by the Referrer within 180 days of form submission; and the Friend funds their account via a contribution, a rollover, or a Transfer of at least $1 USD within that same 180 days to meet eligibility requirements for the reward.   

3. The Reward:  If an Eligible Client qualifies to receive a Reward under these terms, the Reward will be emailed to the Referrer and the Friend via email addresses on file (both of which must be active and in good standing at the time of eligibility) within 30 business days after the Friend meets the Offer requirements described above. There is a limit of one (1) Reward payable to a Referrer per Friend who meets the criteria under these terms. There is a limit of one (1) Reward payable to a Friend, regardless of the number of New Accounts opened by the Friend.  Accounts that have not initiated funding within 12 months of opening the account will be deemed “inactive” and may be closed at NDTCO’s discretion.  Accounts that are deemed “inactive” or closed will not be considered eligible for Rewards.

4. Additional limitations and conditions: NDTCO may, in its sole discretion, revoke or limit this Offer, including the number of Rewards paid, if you are believed to be manipulating or otherwise abusing the process, fairness, integrity or operation of it, or engaging in any suspicious or fraudulent activity. The Referrer agrees to only share information of individuals with whom they have a personal or family relationship. The Referrer agrees not to make any representations that they act on behalf of NDTCO or are an employee, agent, intermediary or representative of NDTCO. The Reward must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or re-assignable. No Cash or Credit substitutions will be permitted. The recipient of the Reward is solely responsible for any tax consequences associated with their receipt thereof. Referrals that do not result in a funded account will not receive the reward. The Offer is subject to the terms and conditions of the NDTCO Terms and Services Agreement. NDTCO reserves the right to end, cancel or change the terms of the Offer at any time, at its sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, and to revoke, limit or suspend the Offer for any person who appears to be manipulating or abusing the Offer, or is engaged in any suspicious/fraudulent activity. By participating in this Offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and consent to receiving electronic messages related to your participation in the Offer on behalf of NDTCO. It also means you consent to NDTCO, its agents and/or representatives, collecting, using and sharing the personal information you submitted while participating in this Offer for the purpose of administering this Offer and in accordance with NDTCO Privacy Policy.

Restrictions apply. The offer described herein is redeemable by current, individual New Direction Trust Company account holders only. Those who sell or provide investments, those who sell or provide financial advice, or any other third-party individuals or entities with whom New Direction Trust Company may share mutual clientele for professional purposes are not eligible to redeem the offer described herein. New Direction Trust Company performs the duties of a self-directed custodian only. It does not provide any investment advice, tax advice, nor does New Direction Trust Company undertake any due diligence for your account or any investment you may choose to hold in your account.
