The Marketing Director will be a core part of New Direction’s Operations team, overseeing all brand loyalty, client referral programs, consumer referral programs, client communication and more. The Director will work closely with other functions such as Compliance, Corporate Finance, Client Relations, Legal and HR. This role reports to New Direction’s Chief Executive Officer and is located in Louisville, CO.  Some onsite work is required; therefore, you must be located within the local area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs the development and execution of comprehensive, measurable strategic marketing plans to meet goals and objectives of the company.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of marketing budgets; prepares reports as needed.
  • Develops and implements aggressive and creative marketing campaigns, promotions, and programs.
  • Directs, coordinates, and supervises the development, design, and production of promotional and collateral materials.
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Oversees development of plans, programs, and promotions to improve market penetration and meet corporate objectives.
  • Directs the coordination, management, and communication of market research and competitive analysis.
  • Develops, maintains, and manages consistent corporate image throughout all marketing and promotional materials and product lines.
  • Builds brand loyalty in mass markets.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops marketing staff; manages schedules and workflow.
  • Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
  • Monitors overall activities of the media department; identifies problem areas and directs corrective actions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing
  • Four to six years related experience
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to motivate and collaborate across the aisle
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
  • Proficient with Eloqua and other marketing automation tools
  • Experience working with Ad Agencies
  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
